Overview

The U.S. stocks closed mixed on Monday as investors continue to monitor the developments of the war in Ukraine as well as awaiting the upcoming interest increases by the Federal reserve likely coming later this week. The S&P 500 fell 0.74% to close at 4173.11 and the Nasdaq Composite also dropped 2.04% to close at 12581.22. The Dow Jones Industrial Average stayed flat at 0.00% and closing at 32945.24.


Economic Reports

1-year inflation expectations went up during February from 5.8% to 6.0%.


3-year inflation expectations also saw an increase in February from 3.5% to 3.8%.
