SWS Daily Market Update - October 25, 2021


Another strong day for the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average. Both U.S. stock indexes closed Monday at record highs: the S&P 500 climbed 0.47% to 4566.48 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.18% to 35741.15. Additionally the Nasdaq Composite increased by 0.90% to close at 15226.71.


Tesla’s stock price has more than doubled in the last year. Today, Tesla became the newest U.S. company to hit $1 trillion in market value after Hertz ordered 100,000 vehicles to increase the number of energy-efficient cars in their fleet of rental cars.
