The Dow also gained 0.4%, or 152.03 points, to close at 35609.34. In contrast, the Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.1% today, or 7.41 points, to 155121.68.
Investors have been reassured in the past few days since stocks have continued to climb as earnings season has gotten underway despite the supply-chain issues, labor shortages, and higher prices of raw-materials.
Bitcoin was trading as high as $66,975.00 today making this a new record for the cryptocurrency.
