US stocks ended another turbulent week on Friday with all three benchmarks finishing with losses. Investors concerns over inflation and the geopolitical tensions between the Ukraine and Russia contributed to the drops in the stock market on Thursday and Friday. The S&P 500 fell 1.90% to 4418.64. The Dow Jones Industrial Average went down by 1.43% to 34738.06 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 2.78% to 13791.15.
Economic Reports
UMich consumer sentiment index (preliminary) for February fell from 67.2 to 61.7. Economists had expected it to be 67.0.
UMich 5-year inflation expectations (preliminary) remain flat at 3.1% in February.
